Welcome to Day 3 of the week of healthy breakfasts! This plate is so dreamy…especially if you love a combination of apples and cinnamon. This breakfast would be perfect for a day where you’re in a bit of a rush and have a lot to get done. It’s got a great mix of carbs, protein, fiber and fats! 

I’d recommend pairing this one with a cup of hot coffee or even a tea (but make sure it’s caffeinated because you all know we never start a morning without caffeine). You could also sub the sliced apples for sliced pears and it would be just as yummy!

Apple Cinnamon Toast

  • Prep time: 10 minutes
  • Total time: 10 minutes
  • Serves: 1

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Gluten Free Toast
  • 2 tbsp Peanut butter or dairy free cream cheese
  • 1 Apple
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • Fresh fruit for side

Method

  • 1)

    Toast two pieces of gluten free bread.

  • 2)

    Slice one small apple and add 1 tsp of ghee to a frying pan.

  • 3)

    Cook apples in pan and sprinkle with cinnamon. Stir frequently until softened.

  • 4)

    Top toast with peanut butter or cream cheese, then add apples on top.

  • 5)

    Serve with fresh fruit on the side.
