4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts Salt and pepper, to taste 2 tablespoons olive oil 2 tablespoons butter 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced (Optional) 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 cup dry white wine 1 cup chicken broth 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon dried rosemary 1/2 cup heavy cream

Step 1

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook on both sides, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the mushrooms and garlic, and cook until the mushrooms are so tender about 5 minutes.
