  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

How to Make Chick Fil A Spicy Chicken Sandwich Recipe

Cut the chicken breasts in half so they are thin. Put the chicken in a bowl with pickle juice and let it sit in the fridge for roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour.

In one bowl, mix the milk and egg. In another bowl, mix the flour, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

Take the chicken out of the pickle juice and dry it with paper towels. Dip the chicken in the flour mix, then in the egg mix, and back in the flour mix to cover it completely.

Step 4:

Heat the oil in a big pot or fryer to 350°F (175°C). Carefully put the chicken in the hot oil and cook until golden brown and the inside is 165°F (74°C), about 3-4 minutes per side. Take the chicken out and let it dry on a wire rack.

Butter the inside of the hamburger buns and toast them in an oven until golden brown.

Put some pickle slices on the bottom half of each bun, add a piece of fried chicken on top of the pickles, and put the other half of the bun on top.
